The Second Round Application is from 23 May to 7 July 2025. Applicants may also have a chance to recieve a Conditional Offer from HKCC before HKDSE result announcement.
Applications received after HKDSE result announcement will be considered ONLY IF there are places left after all rounds of selection. 2025 HKDSE candidates (including re-takers) should apply via Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP).
Applicants NOT attempting HKDSE in 2025 (including those who sat for HKDSE in 2024 and / or before; and holders of other qualifications) should apply via HKCC Online Application for Admission (OAA).
You should pay the HK$200 application fee (including three programme choices) within 7 days of your application via the Online Payment Portal or any ATM at Hang Seng Bank, HSBC or JETCO; or PPS; or Flywire (for payments outside Hong Kong). Please click here for the methods of payment. After payment, you can click here to check the payment status after 3 working days.
Applicants who apply via E-APP or HKCC OAA will be treated equally.
Apart from inputting the required information on E-APP, you should also upload your school result report(s) of S4 to S6 (if available) and your Student Learning Profile (SLP). Also, you are required to upload your past public examination results (if any) such as HKDSE, HKALE, and HKCEE onto E-APP. Applicants for Associate Degree Scheme in Design programmes are required to present their portfolios at the admission interview.
For applicants choosing Higher Diploma in Social Work as their first programme choice, the College will shortlist suitable candidates to sit for an interview.
All applicants choosing programmes in Associate Degree Scheme in Design must attend an interview and submit a portfolio upon the interview, an aptitude test will be arranged when necessary.
Mature applicants and some special cases will be invited to an interview / a written test / an aptitude test when necessary.
Applicants who are invited to an interview will be notified via email and SMS about one week in advance.
Selection of applicants will be mainly based on their HKDSE results. However, your school results in S4 to S6, School Reference Report (SRR), Student Learning Profile (SLP), secondary school teacher / principal recommendation letter, and performance in the interview / written test / aptitude test (for special programmes only), etc. will also be taken into consideration.
Besides, there are HKDSE subject preferences for some programmes, please click here for details. As a general rule, preference will be given to students who have studied subjects highly relevant to their programme choices.
After submitting your application or receiving a conditional offer, you can apply for change of your programme choices on or before 7 July 2025, either via E-APP (if you are 2025 HKDSE candidate), or by submitting an application on HKCC OAA (if you are non-2025 HKDSE candidate and submit your application for admission via HKCC OAA). A second written test, aptitude test or interview may be required. Please note that the total credits to be taken for different programmes may vary.
Applicants sitting for HKDSE in 2025 (including re-takers) should apply via E-APP, so that HKCC can receive a copy of the School Reference Report (SRR) provided by your secondary school. This SRR is important when we consider your application.
Moreover, you should input correctly your HKDSE subjects. If you are taking Combined Science, you should also fill in the two components among Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
If you have ever attempted public examinations before 2025, e.g. HKDSE, HKALE, HKCEE or any other examinations, please upload a copy of the result slip(s). This will help a lot in processing your application.
For other details, please read through the Information for Applicants carefully before you submit your application.
