Unlike other study tours organized by our school, the International Summer School Scholarship (ISSS) provides students with opportunities to study overseas by planning their own tour. One of the objectives of our scholarship is to build up their self-confidence and foster their independence. We encourage the students to solve the problems on their own.
Compare to AL students, DSE students are more active in seeking help from teacher. The number of enquires about all matters of their application increased greatly last year. Instead of answering their questions, I may give advice to the students and lead them on the right track. Let me share with you some quotations from students:

Every year, many students apply ISSS but only a few obtain the chance to study aboard during the summer time. For those who are failure in obtaining our scholarship, I do believe they can still learn something in the application process.
