With the advancement of digital technologies, games can be created easily through mobile electronic devices. Game-based learning is becoming more popular to motivating students to achieve certain learning objectives and even raise their ability from a player's role in applying learning matters in real situations to a designer's role in cultivating their technological skills and creativity.

Resources have been growing in game pedagogy. Examples include "Dystopia 2153" which facilitates coding games and digital stories and "Seppo" which helps create a virtual environment to develop educational games. The Hong Kong Digital Game-based Learning Association offers support to conduct game-based learning classes. Lots of sharing and examples on game-based learning can be found from HKedCity. While we are striving to make students perform well in assessment items, we can draw on some E-learning games in addition to conventional classes to explore their 21st century skills: critical thinking, creativity, communication and collaboration.
