Congratulations to Cheung Yip-pui and Cheung Wai-yee, students of Associate in Design (Visual Communication), on receiving awards in the Green Sense 2019 Competition organised by the Graphic Arts Association of Hong Kong. The competition aimed to integrate theories and design thinking into practice through upcycling and recycling of wastage so as to promote environmental protection and green living.
Candidates visited an environmentally friendly printing company and attended a seminar at the AsiaWorld-Expo in October 2019 before submitting their entries. Yip-pui won the Gold Award in the Graphic Design Category and also received the Most Creative Award with her inventive red packets, while Wai-yee received a Merit Award in the 3-Dimensional Design Category with her wallet for kids.
