Congratulations to Dr Brian Hung (middle in the pic), Lecturer of the Division of Social Sciences, Humanities and Design, on receiving a grant of HK$437,000 from the "Project Grant" (Film and Media Arts Category) under Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) for the production of his film titled Let's have a cup of Doodh Patti Chai.

"It is my honour to receive the grant from the HKADC as it recognises my creative direction," said Dr Hung.

According to Dr Hung, the film is about a family's experiences with ethnic minorities, prompting the audience to reflect on how ones can genuinely treat people with different colours with equality, appreciation, and respect.

The film is still in the pre-production stage, and two HKCC alumni have already been invited to participate in the project: Chan Hok-lun, a professional cinematographer and a 2012 graduate of Associate in Design (Advertising Design), and Wong Kam, a commercials director and a 2013 graduate of Associate in Design (Visual Communication).
