2019/20 Programmes Open for Application Now

Hong Kong Community College (HKCC), an educational unit of the PolyU-affiliated College of Professional and Continuing Education (CPCE), announced that its Associate Degree (AD) and Higher Diploma (HD) programmes for the 2019/20 academic year are now open for application. Candidates sitting the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSE) in 2019 (including re-takers) should apply via the Education Bureau's Electronic Advance Application System for Post-secondary Programmes (E-APP) at www.eapp.gov.hk; other applicants should apply via the HKCC's admissions website (OAA) at www.hkcc-polyu.edu.hk/hkccoaa.

First Round of "Conditional Offers" to be Issued at the end of January 2019

Applicants who apply for HKCC's programmes on or before 8 January 2019 may be granted a "Conditional Offer" at the end of January, after which they could focus on their exam preparation.

Applicants can choose three choices from HKCC's 34 AD and HD programmes which span the domains of arts, science, social sciences, business and the specialised areas of design and health studies.

Getting a UGC Degree in Four Years via the Non-JUPAS route

According to the HKCC 2018 Graduate Survey, a total of 2,385 graduates articulated to bachelor's degree programmes, representing a high articulation rate of 88.2%. What's more, the number of articulated graduates being admitted to bachelor's degree programmes offered by the eight UGC-funded local universities was 1,458 (61.1%). From the first cohort of graduates in 2003 to those in 2018, over 25,200 HKCC graduates have articulated into bachelor's degree studies. This represents a 16-year average articulation rate of 81.5%, which speaks volumes about the ability of HKCC students.
