HKCC's project "STEM Maker", funded by the Quality Education Fund, was completed on 31 December 2019. A grant of $492,600 was received to support a variety of training activities for teachers and students from seven secondary schools. They were taught to use Arduino, a small electronic device. Incorporated with different sensors and supported by computer programs, Arduino has been used in thousands of different applications.
