Jointly organised by Tang Hang Youth Centre and HKCC, two rounds of "Growth through Adventure – A 3-day Challenge Camp" were launched between 7-9 and 17-19 January 2019 at The Salvation Army - Bradbury Camp in Cheung Chau. A total of 42 students of Associate Degree Scheme in Applied Social Sciences joined the camp to enhance their self-awareness, self-efficacy, team spirit and problem-solving abilities via a variety of well-planned adventurous tasks. During the trip, they had ample opportunities to step out from their comfort zone, taking both individual and team challenges such as abseiling, orienteering, and night hiking. They shared their gains and insights at the post-trip sharing session held on 25 January.
