Jointly organised by Hong Kong Red Cross and HKCC, "Voluntary Teaching and Community Service in Heyuan" was launched on 6 January 2019 for five days of services. A total of 34 students participated in the trip and provided help and care for the deprived primary students and local community. The trip gave the student volunteers more opportunities to enhance their leadership skills, creativity and personal development. They paid home visits to local families to learn more about their daily life and played games and gave souvenirs to local primary school students. A post-trip sharing session was held on 18 January for our students to share and reflect on what they have experienced and learned during the service trip.
