The PolyU Taekwondo Team won the overall champion in the Secondary School and Tertiary Institution Taekwondo Competition 2019 held by Hong Kong Taekwondo Association on 13 January 2019. Nine HKCC athletes from the 14-people PolyU team captured two champions, two first runners-up and two second runners-up. This competition gave the team confidence in the Inter-university Taekwondo Competition to be held in March 2019.
