What’s Happening - Design Student Becomes Second Runner-up in Lighting Design Competition 2016-06-3

Congratulations to Ho Tsz-ching, a year-two student of Associate in Design (Product Design) who became the second runner-up in the 9th Hong Kong Lighting Design Competition (Student Group). Organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council, this competition aimed to stimulate our younger generation’s interest in joining the lighting industry and new innovations in product design, as well as to arouse public awareness about local lighting products. Tsz-ching’s design “Candle” used upcycled glass bottles as the main component to address environmental concerns.
