On 14 October 2025, about 20 students from PolyU CPCE's Division of Business and Hospitality Management participated in the Ocean Park Behind-the-Scenes Tour cum Management Talk. Mr Johnny So, Executive Director of Operations and Engineering at Ocean Park Corporation, delivered an informative session on attractions management principles, covering guest experience, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. He illustrated these concepts through real-world examples of crowd management, safety procedures, and service optimisation, deepening students' appreciation of effective park operations.
The behind-the-scenes tour of the Ritual Mansion showcased how storytelling, actor coordination, special effects, and queue management contribute to an immersive guest experience. A visit to the food and beverage operations further demonstrated how themed menus and streamlined logistics support high service standards, broadening the students' understanding of innovation and operational excellence in attractions management.
