CPCE participated in the Student Barometer (SB) exercise for the tenth consecutive year. In 2024, the overall local student satisfaction rate1 reached an impressive 92.2% - not only surpassing both the global benchmark (88.9%) and the Asian benchmark (88.3%) but also hitting a record high. This encouraging achievement reflected CPCE's performance exceeding international standards across multiple key aspects of student learning experience.
The SB exercise, a global survey2 conducted by the independent research company Etio (formerly known as i-graduate), evaluates students' experience in four major areas: arrival, learning, living, and support.
Among the local students of the participating institutions, the survey revealed that:
- In learning elements, CPCE attained an overall student satisfaction rate3 of 91.1%, higher than both the global benchmark (87.7%) and the Asian benchmark (89.4%).
- Of the 33 individual learning elements, CPCE outperformed both the global and Asian benchmarks in 13 of them, including "Expert Lecturers", "Quality of Lectures", "Online Lectures", "Programme Content", "Learning Technology", "Learning Support", "Programme Organisation" and "The Level of Research Activity". The majority of them obtained a satisfaction rate above 90%, with the highest being 95.9% for "Expert Lecturers".
- Regarding support services, CPCE attained a satisfaction rate over 90% in 9 elements, including "Campus Facilities Office", "Counselling Service", "Academic Advisory", and "Student Affairs Office"
