This programme helps you lay a solid and broad-based academic foundation in the context of surveying and built environment that embraces the pillars of science and technology, economic and finance as well as legal knowledge. It also equips you with the latest engineering and management skills for future academic pursuit or entry into the workplace to undertake a wide range of professional tasks including building engineering; property management; multiple disciplines of surveying such as building surveyors (BS), general practice surveyors (GP), quantity surveyors (QS), property and facility management surveyors (PFM), and planning and development surveyors (PDD); as well as other new professions, such as Building Information Modelling (BIM) management.
This programme is new, so no articulation rate and employment rate are available yet. The average articulation rate for the other five associate degree programmes administered by the Division of Science, Engineering and Health Studies was nearly 91% in 2022.
