This programme focuses on teaching the theory and practice of creating moving images and exploring how interaction design influences our daily lives. It equips you with pertinent theoretical knowledge and practical training in research, ideation, prototyping, testing and production. After graduation, you will be able to pursue a bachelor's degree or a career in moving image, interaction design, game design, multimedia art, sound design or social design. This programme is offered for the first time in 2021/22. The average articulation rate for the other three programmes under the Associate Degree Scheme in Design was 88% in 2020.
You are required to take, in two years, 19 - 20 subjects in total, comprising 12 - 13 General Education Subjects and 7 Discipline-specific Subjects.
~Students who are non-Chinese speakers, or whose Chinese standards are at junior secondary level or below are required to take this subject.
*Students with Level 3 or above in any one HKDSE subject (other than English) only need to take four General Education elective subjects.

Medium of Instruction: Most subjects are taught in English, although due to their nature and objectives, some subjects are taught in Chinese. Language subjects are taught in the language in question.

The average articulation rate for the other three programmes under the Associate Degree Scheme in Design was over 88% in 2020. The percentage of graduates admitted to a government-funded programme remained high at over 74%, which was one of the highest among HKCC programmes.
