This programme helps you develop into a capable Chinese-English bilingual associate (including Putonghua), for whom there is a huge market demand. In this programme, you will learn theories and practical skills in Chinese and English. Its broad-based and holistic approach will not only raise your Chinese and English language skills, but also provide you with fundamental domain-specific knowledge for future academic pursuit in professional fields such as Chinese/English language studies, linguistics, speech sciences and communication studies.

You are required to take, in two years, 20-21 subjects in total, comprising 12-13 General Education Subjects and 8 Discipline-specific Subjects.
~Students who are non-Chinese speakers, or whose Chinese standards are at junior secondary level or below are required to take this subject.
*Students with Level 3 or above in any one HKDSE subject (other than English) only need to take four General Education elective subjects.

Medium of Instruction: Most subjects are taught in English, although due to their nature and objectives, some subjects are taught in Chinese. Language subjects are taught in the language in question.
