  • Apart from subjects offered under the Associate Degree Scheme in Humanities and Communication, there are four areas of concentration for you to choose from: China Studies, Liberal Arts, Applied Communication, and Applied Communication in Chinese
  • The four areas of concentration cover different study areas such as history, culture, philosophy, society, and mass media, which will enhance your applied ability in different theories and knowledge. The studies aim to inspire your insight, broaden horizons, enhance creativity and problem solving skills, as well as explore your potential

  • Provides a wide variety of practical elective subject areas, such as history of China and Hong Kong, philosophy, Chinese and Western culture, Chinese literature, and media writing

  This broad-based and holistic programme will enable you to gain a better understanding of different areas of arts including history, philosophy and cultural studies. Upon graduation, you will be in a position to make an informed choice on further academic pursuit or professional career development, such as in the fields of public affairs, management and conservation of cultural heritage, public records editing and administration, art and museum administration, research in cultural policies, education, creative media, editing and publishing.
