The Hong Kong Community College Students' Union was established on 6 March 2002. Since then, the membership and the number of affiliated clubs and societies have grown rapidly.


The structure of the Union comprises the Union Council, the Executive Committee and the Press Committee. The Union Council is responsible for all law enactment and supervision of the administration and financial status of the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is responsible for all daily administrative matters of the HKCCSU. As for the Press Committee, it is responsible for the design and publication of students' magazines. These three units form the committee representing the HKCCSU.

Functions and Benefits

The HKCC Students' Union is young and highly energetic and organises various academic, cultural and recreational functions for its members. Such functions include, for example, Orientation Camp, Orientation Night, purchase and sale of used textbooks, Singing Contest, football and basketball matches, badminton competitions, study tours, etc. It has also arranged shopping benefits in various retail outlets and provides sale of discounted stationery to its members. The HKCCSU also issues its own publication through the Press Committee.
