Dr Louis Mok obtained his Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Criminology with First Class Honours from the City University of Hong Kong in 2009. He then directly pursued his Doctor of Philosophy from the City University of Hong Kong and graduated in 2013. His dissertation was about investigating the cultural compatibility and feasibility of using restorative justice to combat domestic violence in Hong Kong.
Prior to joining HKCC, Dr Mok taught different subjects related to public administration and social sciences at the Community College of City University.
His research interests include domestic violence, juvenile crime and delinquency, restorative justice and penology.
