Kuala Lumpur Trip Fosters Students’ Business Acumen
2018-07-01
In mid-July 2018, a business case competition called “Multinational Business Case Tournament 2017/18” was organised by Associate in Business (Accounting). Six shortlisted teams of students joined a five-day trip to Kuala Lumpur, during which they were required to conduct a survey, attend talks, and visit companies for presenting their research findings on the topic “Why Hong Kong housing investors are moving out of the Hong Kong market? A case study of Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur”.

Mok Tze-wing and her team members garnered the champion award. She said the trip extended her knowledge about the real business world and the property markets in Hong Kong and Malaysia. The competition also allowed her to explore the Malaysian culture, which greatly broadened her international horizons.
