Graduates’ Digital Storytelling Projects Win Awards from University of Houston
Graduates Cheung Tik-yan (Associate in Applied Social Sciences (Sociology and Culture)) and Cheung Ho-lam (Associate in Translation and Interpretation), who enrolled on a General Education subject “Digital Storytelling” in Semester Two 2015/16, recently received an award from the Digital Storytelling Contest – DISTCO hosted by the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Houston, USA. Tik-yan’s story Scar received the Best Digital Story in the Category of Personal Stories/Reflection, Higher Education (International) while Ho-lam’s story Refugee in Hong Kong received the Best Digital Story in the Category of Cultures/Religion, Higher Education (International).
