Dr Lee Heung-sing obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Master of Philosophy and Doctor of Philosophy in Chinese Language and Literature from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). His research interests mainly involve classical Chinese Literature, specialising in Ming Qing Dynasty’s Prose and literary criticism. He has presented research papers in international conferences and also published papers in various academic journals.
Before joining HKCC, Dr Lee worked as a tutor for the Department of Chinese Language and Literature of CUHK. He was responsible for the tutorial teaching of several subjects, including “Introduction to Literature”, “Literature of the Jian'an Period”, “Ci of Song Dynasty”, and “Prose of Han Yu”.
Besides, he is interested in Putonghua speech and drama performing. He was a council member of Tertiary Putonghua Recitation Society and a leading actor of Sword of Vengeance in 2010 and 2012. He has also provided Putonghua voice dubbing for different organisations, such as publishing companies, government departments and media production companies.
