Ms Wendy Sze received her first degree in Translation from Lingnan University and her postgraduate teaching diploma from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, where she also completed her master's degree in Applied English Linguistics. With an avid interest in languages and cultures, she pursued another master's degree in Applied Translation Studies at the University of Leeds, UK. Her research interests lie in second language acquisition, language policy and English for academic purposes.
Before joining HKCC, Ms Sze had been a freelance interpreter in England and served as a lecturer at The Community College at Lingnan University. She has taught a variety of courses, including Business English, General English, English for Academic Writing and English for Oral Academic Communication. In her leisure time, Wendy enjoys the outdoors, drama, the theatre and books, especially those on zoology as well as ancient Greek and Roman mythology.
