Ms Canna Chan possesses a keen interest in beauty therapy. After receiving her first Beauty Therapy Diploma in 1992, she continued to pursue further studies, leading her to being conferred numerous internationally recognised beauty diplomas, such as CIBTAC, INFA, CIDESCO, and IFA in beauty therapy. Ms Chan is also a member of the International Federation of Aromatherapists, an Examiner of O.S.T.A., China, an Assessor of Beauty Therapist of City & Guilds of London Institute, and a Register Holistic Practitioner.

Ms Chan also possesses a Diploma in International Business from Seneca College, Canada, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from University of Ottawa, USA. She is now pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Sector Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Before taking up teaching as her career, Ms Chan had worked in the beauty industry for more than 10 years. She was the director of a beauty salon and a beauty school. From 2002 to 2006, Ms Chan worked as a lecturer of Beauty Care at the Vocational Training Council. In addition, she has also been teaching “Professional Image and Make-up” as a visiting lecturer at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2003.
