Teaching and Scholarly Interests:

Kit-ling received her PhD in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University in 2007, her Master of Sciences in Development Studies from the University of London (School of Oriental and African Studies) in 1997 and her Master of Arts in Applied Social Studies from the Warwick University, the UK in 1991.

She joined HKCC in 2007 as lecturer teaching subjects in social sciences and cultural studies. She is currently the Programme Leader for the Associate in Applied Social Sciences. Her research interests include: Gender and sexuality politics, Women’s movements and Feminism, Critical pedagogy, Ageing and Gerontology Studies.
