Prior to joining HKCC, Mr Tam was working in the events industry in Hong Kong and London. He organised various international trade exhibitions and consumer shows whilst working for the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, including inaugural events coinciding the opening of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. His experience also covers development and management of industry conventions, high-level conferences and seminars in different cities across Asia and Europe.

Mr Tam would like to share his commercial experience with students. He is interested in researching how to apply appropriate business models to enhance events development and use existing commercial practices to enrich academic theories.
