This programme is designed to provide you with professional knowledge of financial and investment planning. You will acquire the necessary knowledge regarding financial institutions, financial products and services, and the core skills in serving clients with different investment needs. Besides, you will be given assistance in taking relevant licensing examinations.

You are required to take, in two years, 20 - 22 subjects in total, comprising 5 - 7 General Education Subjects and 15 Discipline-specific Subjects.

 

General Education Subjects

 

3 - 4 Compulsory Subjects

 

  • Chinese Communication for College Students@ OR Elementary Chinese~
  • English for Academic Studies (Business) I
  • English for Academic Studies (Business) II
  • Practical English for College Students^

 

@ Taught in Putonghua

~Students who are non-Chinese speakers, or whose Chinese standards are at junior secondary level or below are required to take this subject.

^Students with Level 3 or above in HKDSE English are exempted from taking this subject.
