This programme is tailor-made for those who are eager to engage themselves in aircraft services engineering. It equips you with the knowledge and skills needed to become a professional in the field. Through theoretical modules, laboratory sessions, projects and internship opportunities, you can understand the fundamentals of aircraft services engineering and its modern developments, and gain specialised knowledge and hands-on abilities to solve practical problems related to the field.

Student of Higher Diploma in Aircraft Services Engineering
The Higher Diploma in Aircraft Services Engineering programme emphasises both theory and practice. Some classes are conducted at the Industrial Centre of PolyU where I can learn different processes of aircraft maintenance in a simulated environment, including engineering drawings, making parts, and welding parts, etc. Besides, I can also learn about the operations and principles of different parts of an aircraft from theoretical lessons, which are conducive to my future career development in the aviation industry.
You are required to take, in two years, 23 - 26 subjects in total, comprising 5 – 6 General Education Subjects and 18 to 20 Discipline-specific Subjects.
