Thanks to the power of modern information and communications technology (ICT), data is everywhere. And expertise on the intelligent analysis and use of massive amount of data to improve operations is demanded by almost any organisation. This programme equips you with essential skills in statistical analysis and modern ICT knowledge through professional training in data management, data storage, and statistical data analysis. You can choose to focus on either statistical techniques or modern ICT through elective subjects.

 

Upon graduation, you may apply for UGC-funded degree programmes in Statistics, Decision Analytics, Investment Science, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Management or Business Analysis. 

 

# This new programme has yet to graduate its first cohort of students. The articulation rate for Associate in Statistics and Computing for Business (another programme of a similar nature) was 85.3% in 2016.

You are required to take, in two years, 20 - 22 subjects in total, comprising 12 - 14  General Education Subjects and 8 Discipline-specific Subjects.
