Graduate of Associate in Business (Hospitality Management)

Miki is determined to develop her career in hotel management. Knowing that the industry emphasises practical experience, Miki chose to enrol in HKCC’s Associate in Business (Hospitality Management) programme as it offered lots of opportunities for practice and gaining work experience.
She remembered when she was a hotel intern, she had to help evacuate an outdoor restaurant and comfort customers as a typhoon was approaching quickly. This experience made her understand that hotel staff always need to be flexible when dealing with unexpected incidents, and customers should always be her first priority.
“HKCC’s complementary studies programme enables students to acquire knowledge beyond textbooks. I took a course on table manner and learned a lot about red and white wines, which is conducive to my future job in hotel catering.”
