The Opening Ceremony of 2009 Award Project: Chinese Writing Competition ( 活出「龍」情獎勵計劃2009 -- 撰「文」述「區」徵文比賽) was held on 14 March on Hong Kong Community College (West Kowloon Campus). The keynote speakers are Dr. Lui, Director of National Education Centre, Mr. Yeung, Chairman of Hong Kong Youths Unified Association and Mr. Ho, Author and Lecturer of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. There are renowned guests and students coming from secondary schools and tertiary institutions. More than 300 applications for the Competition were received.
